I'm still good. My experiment continues. Starting April 10th, I avoid the 4-12 zone like the plague, stream video at low to medium quality, and don't used the FAP FREE much. (Hughes Motto: We can sell you up to 1.5Mbps, but for heaven's sake don't use it.)

Home Plan, 117W, 1090MHz, Router Address: 66.82.156.169
I think I got it now . Its kinda like potty training . Hughes sells you the service then kinda like potty trains you not to use it , right ?

Well I should say trains you to use it like they want you to use it which is very little .

At least for now. I want to see if using less bandwidth has any effect, or if throttling is in any way random. Some users report throttling despite low use. The moment I get throttled, my little experiment is over. (I prefer the analogy of the fast car in the garage. )

Seriously though, if Hughes is so concerned about bandwidth, why do they offer up to 1.5Mbps? (Rhetorical question)
