I would switch to dial up service. It is like $10 a month. That would save your e-mail address and have it ready for when you move to your new place. And if you can not get DSL activated in the new place and have to go to another provider you have time to send out e-mails using your old address to tell people of your new e-mail.
This is what happened to me when I moved and could not get DSL in my new home for 2 years. -- "The American Indians found out what happens when you don't control immigration." |

| The problem is that I will have trouble getting dialup too because, for all intents and purposes, I'm going to be temporarily "homeless". To order dialup, they say you need to give an address. Is this just for billing? -- home |

To order dialup, they say you need to give an address. Is this just for billing? LOL you get dial up service to keep your e-mail address instead of cxl your account. You don't have to use it. You are paying the $10 a month to keep your e-mail until you are ready to get DSL again. Address is for billing only. You already have dail up service included with your DSL for free. So cxl DSL and keep the dial up. Or just cxl and get a new e-mail.
That is why I never use ISP e-mails as my main one. I use Yahoo and G-mail. -- "The American Indians found out what happens when you don't control immigration." |
