It should not be necessary but having a tech in your home communicating with your local RCN office might be the only way to get this resolved. I have found with RCN that talking to someone in another state with 1-800-RING-RCN is often useless.

anon : I just switched from TimeWarner to RCN last Tuesday in Queens, NY and I have the HD/DVR package. The sale rep told me that I would get all the HD channels when I signed up, but I do notice that I don't recieve ESPN/ESPN2 HD, HDNET and a couple of other HD channels also. I thought this was just a mistake and was going to call up RCN to find out. I'm wondering if other people have the same experience.
