Help with a browser issue

anon : I've been an sbc/yahoo dsl customer for 3+ yrs. now. I had an existing "yahoo account" at the time I installed sbc dsl and thanks to the advice I found on this board, I DIDN'T merge my old yahoo account with the new during installation.

From the beginning I have always used my "old yahoo only" account/browser as my home page with the ms ie browser. From time to time, but not often,I would open the sbc/yahoo browser just to take a quick peek at its content. I always signed out and closed the "sbc browser" before doing anything else. At that point I could open ms ie, home page "my yahoo", and sign in to my old yahoo account.

My problem today is I just finished signing off and exiting a "new sbc/ATT/yahoo" browser session and for whatever reason I am unable to open ms ie without it directing me to the "ATT/yahoo browser". I am unable to open to "my yahoo" home page. I checked the internet settings and the home page tab reads as it should.

HELP!! Please tell me I'm not doomed to a life with the ATT browser. I'm baffled...I was always able to switch back over in the past.

How do I solve this problem?
