Advertised speed incorrect on Cox HSI FAQ?

The FAQ below states "Several packages are available in each Cox market with speeds up to 12 MB downstream and 1 MB upstream."

Shouldn't it be 12Mbps and 1Mbps? Actually the flier I received last week states 15 Mbps Down.

Which FAQ?

And the max sppeds available from Cox are 15Mbps down and 2Mbps up, Noone has 9 up and very few actually have 15/2. Most are 12/1

My point about the speed is it states MB, to Mb. Huge difference.

12MBps = 96 Mbps!

Yes, obviously, but the average joe doesnt know the difference between a Mb and a MB. They are more likely to understand MB and GB.

Actually EVERYWHERE that has fios or fios nearby gets 2mbps on their upload. 1mbps is as good as it gets for the "havenots".

Many people confuse MegaBytes (MB) with Megabits (Mb). Usually its the non-technical types or someone that received a poor education!

Is it really that big of a deal? Here in Phoenix, Cox and Qwest are the only 2 shows in town. I don't want Qwest dsl, so cox wins irregardless if it is Mbps or MBps

Woah, you got a flier that shows 9 up?

Dang I wish that was available in my area.

Any chance you can scan the flier and post a pic so the rest of us can drool?

DOH! Sorry, I read the flier wrong. Its 15 down for premier and 9 down for Preferred. No mention of upload speed on the flier.

I have 2Mbps Upload for almost 2 years, and 20 Mbps download for 8 months or so and of course its Mbps. So thats a typo. I dont know if i am considered as being in fios area, but i know that only Greenwich in CT has fios and its 85 miles away from me.

I checked cablevision's website but they are not in my area. 2Mbps upload on standard package? Whats their best upload offer and how much is it, because i could not find prices or plans on website.
I check fios availability pretty often thru their website but it is not here yet, and i have a feeling that fios is not coming to this area, connecticut is just to small i guess, even though its between boston and ny, and a lot of people from the city lives here. I don't know, i don't know... maybe one day, maybe...

Well their BOOST is pretty much uncapped on the download[up to 38mbps] and the upload is capped at 5mbps.
costs are around ~$65.
