Thanks for the help guys, no joy on the vista machine. wipe and reinstall. I haven't had a chance to try the fix for the xp machine. I have one client with this issue remaining. Her laptop works fine everywhere except one of their own internal APs. All other machines work fine with this AP. Weird. I found this blog: »www.reviewsaurus.com/aol-google-···splayed/ ,They cover a whack of problems that exibit the same symptoms.

| Hey Matt, I have reinstalled everything readily available to test scenarios. Prior to reinstalling "ping www.google.com" was successful but in IE the page could not be displayed. In the past it has always been a vista issue. Swapping out the asus routers for dlinks solved the problem at the time. This is the first time I have encountered the problem with XP. |
