IMO this version needs some work but it is not a disaster.
AVG needs to fix a couple of things IMO like:

Disabled items wording. The notification should not be a warning that something is wrong just call it what it is:

"This feature has been disabled by the user". or "Feature disabled"

Better layout in the GUI. Seems more steps need taken to accomplish tasks that one or two clicks took care of in v7.5

In the interim I switched to Avast and it is working fine and has an excellent feature set and layout.
