Looking for ISP in woodbridge, ontario

Currently with rogers and want to cancel my internet with them. Does anyone know any isp's besides rogers that serves the woodbridge area?

·TekSavvy Solutions..

»www.canadianisp.com/cgi-bin/isps···rch&p=ON and then select Woodbridge.

My vote is for TekSavvy (but as a very satisfied customer I could be a bit biased.)

I have to second nanook, on both counts. My vote is for Teksavvy (just signed up and am completely pleased), and as a result, I am also likely biased!

They don't service my area cause bell doesn't have their phone lines here. My telephone provider is fci( was now owned by rogers).

Do you have a FCI land line? There is a way to get FCI DSL if you don't like Rogers cable.

it does not matter which analog phone provider you have.
all you need is the phone lines circuit # and give that to teksavvy. this is very easy to do. juss call your phone company.

It matters if he's outside Bell territory, which appears to be the case here.

Yes I have an fci land line but according to their site, I can no longer get it as rogers bought them out and do not provide dsl for new customers.

To be clear, DSL on FCI lines (where FCI is the ILEC) is only possible from FCI. You cannot get DSL from us or Sympatico or anyone else.

I'd prefer another dsl provider besides fci since its owned by rogers. Whats this I hear about dry loop dsl. Would I still be able to get that even if fci is my phone provider?

You can get a dry loop (DSL with no active phone service), but only from FCI in your case. Essentially, you're ultimately stuck with Rogers/FCI for the last mile. You can also try 3Web cable which goes over Rogers.

I called them up but found out there is a 60gb cap and then they cut you off which is just as bad as rogers charging me an extra $25.
