|  [General] pop goes the WHR-G125
I am not sure if I had a power hiccup or (more likely) if I grabbed the wrong power cord. I plugged in my unit and after a couple of seconds it went pop! I unplugged immediately.
Now when I plug it in only the power light comes on, along with all the lights in the back.
I've tried the reset button, and tried letting it sit for a while.
Is there any hope? |

| If you physically heard an actual "pop", then most likely you have "fried" it. The popping was probably a capacitor or some other component blowing inside the router.
By saying "I've tried the reset button:, did you hold it in to perform a hard reset, or just press and release? |

I did a press and release, and a power up with the button held in. And held it for a minute or so. Is there a special "hard reset" I can do. I did not find one on the buffalo site. |
