You will get a screen saying it is has been set to bridged mode and internal web page will be disabled. Modem reboots in bridged mode. It takes a reset to defaults with the small pin to change it back. Hold it for 5 sec after red light. Seems holding in the pin too long or too short will only reset (power cycle) the modem. I don't like the way they did either. Even when setting 4200 to disable auto connect, it still connects PPPoE. They could have just left the link for bridged mode on the internal web page. It's shown in the modem manual. |
