My last question is, if I put a normally 480i channel on, but set it to 1080i will it upconvert it to a better picture? (trying to decide whether or not to use the auto feature) |

clubs: | There are a couple ways to force the box to upconvert, not sure if you will notice a difference in quality, but technically yes your box does have some capability to attempt to upconvert the picture to 1080i.
