They might be able to hit 200m population but they'll likely have to acquire spectrum in other markets to go beyond that. It would probably take 4-5 years just to hit 200m. In comparison, Sprint's voice network hits about 260m pops.
I think Sprint once said they own WiMAX spectrum in 80 of the 100 largest markets. Not sure what Clearwire has but methinks it's a few major markets and several small ones. |
