Canon, is strange. They mount the cams as drives in Windows but not in Mac. I don't know why. My Pentax DSLR mounts as a drive on my Mac.

Plug it into Windows, and it sees the camera and installs whatever is needed. It assigns a drive letter and I can navigate to its folder, and get the pics.

I did have to install Windows drivers from Canon before hand but Canon says I don't need to install anything on the Mac. I can't figure out why I can't get it to work. :(
