TELUS has theoretical loop qualification that typically determine speeds and then other systems determine port availability. If the account isn't flagged as eligible the CSRs can't do anything about it. It's better to error on the side of caution and not provide it then to provide it and end up with service calls and troubles and a pissed off customer after the fact.
Also, being that Teksavvy is a small company, they can micromanage their customer base a little easier. |
