I was never on national radio, but I was on a Maine station.... as a DJ!!!!!!
My uncle used to own an FM station on 97.7 here. One day they didn't have a DJ to fill a night shift on a Saturday night, so the station manager called and asked if I will fill in.
I did. And it was fun!
The next day the manager got allot of calls asking if I was a regular because they liked my "demeanor" or whatever.Still, I never did do that again.
That was a far cry from me having to give a speech at my graduation and I was so scared and nervous. Can you say stage fright???? It was bad, but I still managed to pull it off without anyone realizing how nervous I really was. |
