Thats a different service, and requires installation of a separate Cisco router that CV installs on your premises and is only available to business customers. I've certainly rebooted my modem a few times since I've been here, and also reset (dump stored configuration) it a few times using the web UI. Same IP, as I understand things with OOL the IP leases are bound to the modem HFC MAC along with the device MAC of whatever's plugged into it. Since I'll be using the same router, I should be good.

Changing from standard to Boost alone will not change your IP.. I've had OOL standard package for years now, works great, and my IP has only changed once when they split my node a while back. Since then I've gotten pretty attached to the IP i have.

I'm thinking of getting Boost for the unblocked ports and extra upload, but I don't want my IP to change.

Thus the question: Will upgrading OOL -> Boost make my IP change?
