I'm using Colloquy but there is the hassle of ssh port forwarding because it doesn't support client ssl certs. The aluminum style is nice, however I'm starting to discover it only implements some of the IRC command set (but good enough for me so far). The real hassle is lack of client ssl certificate for the server to authenticate me.

I got a free license (1.x I think) through a heist last year (or one of the mupromo bundles).

Dunno about the SSL thing though, don't see mention on the front page

Thanks but that won't fly at a busy startup. Its either IRC client with client certificates or IRC+sshPortForwarding.
