I hear boost allows an option to get a static assigned IP, will THAT change my IP?
Thats a different service, and requires installation of a separate Cisco router that CV installs on your premises and is only available to business customers. But to answer your question -- if you were eligible to sign up for that and did so -- your IP would definitely change as youd be given a range of IPs from the static pool, not the DHCP pool which you have now.
