| Just got the Free HDTV TV, Question
I have no plans of renting yet another box (all ready have 3) can I use this TV without the digital adaptor Verizon is giving away? It is the Sharp lc-19sb15u and I believe it has the QAM tuner built in.
Basically Id like to get the locals and the music channels with out renting another regular box (the STBs are almost as big as the TV)
I connected it today and I do get the locals (analog & digital) and the music channels. I am assuming once the all digital goes into effect I will get the same minus the analog)
Will I need the digital converter? |

| You will only need the adapter if you want more than the locals and music channels. With the free digital adapter you get everything you subscribe to (including any premiums) minus HD, guide and on demand.
So I see no reason to not get one. Use the composite video output and RCA audio (yellow, red, and white RCA jacks) and get even more at no cost to you. -- REMEMBER: Stupidity should be painful !! |

It will get you the guide and VOD. Right now (before the all digital switch) the adapter is FREE. Free beats cheap -- REMEMBER: Stupidity should be painful !! |
