| reply to msanta Re: What kind of outdoor splitter should I get?
Believe me, I wasn't buying a Monster splitter at $25 when I can get something else betterr for less than half the price. The image happened to be the first image that came up when I searched for 8 way splitters.Probably RadioShack has them. I wanted to know the exact splitter I needed. |

| you shouldn't be terminating any unused ports, because unused ports after that many splits means you could be getting dangerously close to not having enough signal to all of your outlets.
what you should do is buy a decent 5-900 Mhz TWO-WAY splitter. then head to your six way and double up one of the ports, which will free up a port for your 7th outlet.
the outlets you should be splitting are the router and the tv that is physically the closest (least amount of cable). |
