'DSL light suddenly off' sounds like some sort of CO issue. Either it's a botched hardware migration or a switch to Bellsouth. If it's a botched hardware migration, a de-provision and re-provision [physically disconnecting and reconnecting the DSL] should fix it. In my case, Earthlink wasn't bright enough to figure this out even when Covad and I found the telltale evidence and spelled it out to them in so many words. I'm curious to see how this is resolved.
