decx : About VLC, I have to agree, it has to be one of, if not the most unstable program I've used. I haven't used an app this bad since Netscape Communicator 4.

That said Google Earth is quickly getting to that same level of unstableness. I've had quite a bit of problems from it ranging from display corruption to just plain locking up the machine.

Thinkdiff : VLC is still an unstable mess for me. Works great for awhile, then it just craps out all of a sudden for no reason. That's more VLC's fault than anything else though.

Safari also randomly crashes when I open too many pages.

Otherwise, everything else has been stable.

ArchAngel21x : When I was still running Tiger, I noticed that apps like VLC and browsers would crash somewhat frequently. I also noticed a bug that would not let opera minimize after visiting a page that used certain java code no matter what version of Opera I used. Since upgrading to Leopard I have not had these problems with the exception of Yahoo IM occasionally thinking it crashed when I just closed it. I haven't had even 1 kernel panic since upgrading to Leopard. Anyone else notice an improvement in stability with the OS and applications since upgrading?
--
Proud owner of a Mac Book & iPod Touch (8 Gig) | Mac Rumors | Apple Store
