When I had ordered my free digital adapter, I had used the special 1-888 number given on the first letter I had received from Verizon last month. The 1-888-GO-DIGITAL number was on the second letter I had received this week. According to my account at verizon.com under My Services, it listed both "Analog Video Service" and "DCT-700 Conversion Free" along with the other services and set top boxes I subscribe to. So because it listed "DCT-700 Conversion Free" in my account, I'm assuming that I won't be charged for the digital adapter.
