| the new carrier will handle the porting. it remains your responsibility to contact Vonage to close your account with them. If you do not contact Vonage, they will continue to bill you for service (and you can still use it for outbound calling). Check the current terms of service for how months after account creation that the cancellation fee expires, and note also that they bill in full monthly increments. I am not aware of any VOIP provider that will auto-cancel your account on port out of the phone number. |
