yeah i got another ticket opened again today last i opened on Tuesday was close cause the maintenance office said "...well over max. loop for 1.6 service...should be dropped to 768k to have service work correctly..." when it says in my circuit test that i was receiving 1792/448.. yeah last time it happened had to wait a week for it to get resolved which sucks

Well, also the thing is, it definatly is a problem at the CO and not the line as you can easilly push 3Mbps through that with the high noise margin.

Oh i wanted to get 3mbps but they said i live to far for it but yeah it is the CO i tried 3 modems to make sure it wasn't on my end and also 3 computer to prove them wrong when they said it was my computer when i called up tech support haha

Try Verizon Direct. Post your stats there and have them change the sync (don't mention the line having high latency or slow speeds yet, only ask for a change from 1.5Mbps to 3Mbps). Also, if they do change your speed and there is still a problem, ask Verizon Direct to fix that after you get 3Mbps. Be sure to give them speed tests and trace routes.

I have the same problem here at 11374 too... started on early Saturday... The Central Office closed my ticket twice saying they could not find a problem, but opened another one just now... I had the same problem in February.. Hope they find a solution, very frustrating!..

All,

I'm experiencing the same issues as the above posters and OP. I actually remember your user name, Bajimmyg, from the Feb issue, which I had as well.

I'm in zipcode 11366. I've given tech support a few calls as well and no resolution as of yet. Will keep you all posted.

I've been back to normal since about late Monday. Any ideas what happened here in Queens?
