Data transfer limit quota?

Does anyone know what Embarq's data transfer limit quota is? And if they cap your speed, how long does the capping last?

Recently our download speed has dramatically dropped, and I couldn't figure out why until someone elsewhere mentioned their's being capped (another ISP). We had the unfortunate timing, apparently, of downloading lots of video podcasts and watching online tv all at the same time. -_-

If you're actually getting capped - you're the first person that I have ever heard of it happening on Sprint / now Embarq's DSL service.

Embarq does not impose any monthly download caps. You should call in if you are having speed issues.

Later yesterday I went to the customer service chat and got ahold of an agent. I made the mistake of putting in my name and phone number instead of my dad's, so she said she couldn't tell my anything about this. Doesn't make sense because it was just a general question, but anyway. Afterwards I noticed that our internet speeds have returned to normal...actually better than normal. Perhaps she had someone look at it anyway?

It's good to know though that they don't cap, so thank you!
