Yeah, I'm looking for a Plan B right now. I've seen a couple of job postings at military bases that required the CWNP(which really should not be to hard to obtain) that paid VERY WELL. I figure having that and a CCNA would look quite nice. Putting Wireless Network Admin on my resume does not seem to mean much since I have nothing to prove that I can actually do something.
AMD FREAK,
Are you studying on your own for the CCNA or did you get something. »www.semsim.com/ has a simulator for $40 that "they claim" pretty much guarantees you'll pass the CCNA on the first shot. I don't have a CISCO lying around to play with and I figured I'd get a simulator for the training. I did download the semsim simulator trial and it looks and feels like your working with a cisco router.
As to working towards the CCIE, yeah there will probably be someone waiting outside the test room ready to hire you. From what I've read a CCIE certification is a close to a guaranteed high-paying job as you can get.
