kudos:13 | nothing new Gee, almost everyone thinks it sucks, yet look at all the people who just love Steam. Steam games (at lease HL2) require you to connect to the internet every time you play. Offline mode never worked for me and besides, HL2 insisted on updating the first time I played before it would allow me to even start the game.
Of course if this new copy protection causes sales to drop, they will probably blame it on pirates.

And I don't know what's up with your offline mode. All my Steam-based software works just fine - internet connection or not. |
