Game companies are not so smart

Game companies are not as smart at they think they are. If you have a legit key, then why do you need to activate the game every 10 days? Do they think someone is going to replace a legit key with a pirated key?

I love the people who say if you don't like what EA is doing then you must be a pirate. Those people don't have a clue. I'm not a pirate and I don't like it. I am not against it because it stops pirates, I am against it because they treat me like I will be.

I am all for a one time activation but not activating every 10 days. To say you need to have a internet connection is nonsense. What if your away and no internet is available, they I guess your out of luck. That $50+ you paid for the game can be thrown right out the window.

People say that if you don't like it then don't buy the game. That maybe true but we have to think about economics. People buy less pc games because of strict copyrights then the game makers will not support the pc platform. Then you'll get the people who say the people aren't buying the game cause they are cheapos or pirates.

The only people I see losing out here is the people who buy and play the game. The game company gets there money and the customer has to deal with bullcrap. If EA/Bioware says this is to increase the users experience then they need a reality check.

Bioware states that it will clearly labeled on the box, bullcrap. You think they will put a big label on the box, hardly not. They want people to buy the game, not be turned away. They will just put it in little type so 9 time out of 10 you will miss it. What evey happens after you buy the game, who cares. They got there $50+ dollars.

My best guess is they're checking to make sure a "legit" key isn't hitting the servers multiple times from multiple IP's. One of my friends got a key for Kaspersky off Limewire. It worked good for week, and then was blacklisted since homebase noticed several people were using it....
