Can you export the session from the registry on one of the working machines and import it into the machine you are having a problem with? If you go into regedit and pull up HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\SimonTatham\PuTTY\Sessions -- you should be able to just export the one session that you use and then import the reg file.
Any time I have ever seen that message, it was due to a configuration issue on the client or the server. You're making the connection -- its the authentication that is failing. |
