| I don't care.... This doesn't bother me in the least bit. I have all three current consoles, and this will be completely transparent to me. Am I one to judge if a software company, who has spent millions developing a game, should be able to protect their investment? What allows them to continue to make killer games is the fact that people buy them; the people who steal them are offering no support to keep them alive at all.
I say this is transparent, to me, because I have all three of my consoles wired to a switch that fees back to my router anyways. I have nothing to hide, and I don't see this as an invasion of my privacy. I see this as a industry that's trying to rightfully maximize their profits. | | | weaseled386 said: "This doesn't bother me in the least bit. You're in the very VERY small minority here. All over the internet, people are livid about this. Slashdot, Ars Technica, Digg, Stardock, DSLReports, Eurogamer, Gamespot, etc.
You're opinion is outweighed by the other 99% of us. We needn't even bother citing the "And then they came for the Jews.." speech. | | Reviews:

| I guess I just don't see why someone would get mad because a company has found another way to try to protect their software.
Is it a money issue? I have some fancy stuff, but trust me, I'm broke -- Bankrupt to be exact. There is a lot I have to pass on that irks me. I wanted Vista when it first came out, but had to save for several months to get it. To get it I recycled alumimum cans and scrap copper.
Is it a privacy issue? If so, the internet is the wrong place to be & this day-and-age is the wrong time to live.
I like to think I'm fairly bright. I can say and do some retarded things, but I guess I'm missing the issue this is causing. | |
