said by Master_AMD :As far as I know I don't use PPPoE, I don't have any settings in my router for it to login, I just connect it and it works. In this case, who assigns the IP Address to your router and what is its WAN IP Address? |

Most aDSL connection through a modem that I knew of using a PPPoE connection with a login and yours doesn't even do a login. I had tried an aDSL promotion back in 2002 through a fiber connection where the telco sent its technician to replace a little adapter connected to the demarc to split out an RJ45. I could just plug in my router or computer to the RJ45 port (no aDSL modem involved) and it went online right the way with a public IP Address assigned from the ISP. -- Mazilo always prays for FREEBIES!
