NoCD/NoDVD patches are everywhere.
"Stealing" these games will be easier than you think - and they won't call home! 
The people who buy these games and run into issues with the whole calling home nonsense will slowly start leaning to either consoles or the download scene.

Um..not quite. If you buy the game from EA, they will say "See! SecuROM worked!". Thus, buying the game is providing support for SecuROM. Bioware has stated on their forum that they have been informed by their Draconian Reptilian Masters at EA that, going forward, SecuROM will be on all titles from Bioware. That means Dragon Age, Mass Effect 2 & 3, Baldurs Gate 3, and Jade Empire 2.
I'll bet Bioware is regretting that decision to sell out to EA right about now, no?  |
