Well it depends on if there was a contract or not. If there was, Earthlink can jump ship and still sue the city for breaching said agreement. I'm sure the lawyers will solve it. They always do. What would we do without lawyers (sarcasm)? They always walk away with fat pockets while everyone else is the loser, no matter who ultimately "wins". Both parties pay a bundle, see little, while these guys make fortunes.
