 | Baldur's Gate I have most of Bioware's "great" ones..Baldur's Gate I, II, Planescape, Icewind Dale I, II, etc. Originals. Not copies. I remember Bioware replacing one of my defective bg2 discs for 5 bucks..twice. My my how the mighty have fallen..again! This happened before with Origin Systems, Bullfrog, Westwood..all acquired by the BLOB called EA. Or maybe we should call them BLOBEA for short? Sounds like something out of the book of Revelations (or the Book of the Dead).
The main reason I always loved Bioware's rpgs was the writing, character development, depth..Minsc and his miniature giant space hamster named Boo, Nalia, Imoen. Fans know who these characters are. They grew on us. I had my fears and doubts when EA bought them. Now those fears have come to fruition.
Maybe the two docs that founded Bioware should go back to practicing medicine. At least that way they could only probe one patient at a time instead of ALL of us simultaneously. No sale. (throws rotten tomatoes at Bioware's headquarters in Edmonton)
