Get ready for more...

This is nothing; Buckeye has much more than 12 Mbps up its sleeve.

I don't know what the official stance is regarding our DOCSIS 3.0 deployments, so I'm not going to elaborate beyond saying that some employees already have connections at home which make the 12 Mbps tier look paltry in comparison...

Bring it, AT&T.

At $79 a month anything faster than 12Mbps would put a lot of Toledo folks in the poor house.

Who says they're not going to lower pricing? The people that get raped over HSI and phone are the DSL & Landline people $60+ for your landline bundle after taxes and "fees" then your price of DSL which AT$T decides to raise monthly it seems like.

I ran some field trial wideband modem speed tests this morning to the Sprint Chicago point. All came in over 40M down and close to 2 up as you can see on the speed test page. I have been getting 60M+ on the bex.net speed test.

Interestingly, the best performance came from the Safari browser running on a Vista machine.
