Acanac clients are being throttled on mass by Bell.

How can you as a client get around the Bell throttling?

We do offer the Free Online PC to our DSL clients that can be used to bypass the throttling. It's still in Beta, but is available upon request to our DSL clients.

We already have an ongoing post at the following thread including instructions on how to set it up.

»Throttling

If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask.

Paul

Every DSL company in Ontario/QE is being throttled. Bell did not even send out a notice to the DSL companies like Acanac or Teksavvy etc. So everybody is paying the same amount for reduced service not only you.

Do a search on the forum and you will see what can be done to help and get bell to stop throttling everybody.

yes it does suck but you cant try and blame Acanac, blame Bell and remove all your services from them, hurt them in he $$ department where it counts.

Well i don't know...

According to Bell, Acanac is the ones throttling and not Bell.

Proof:
»Re: Unlimited Data on Bell

Bell is apprantly telling people its acanac throttling and telling people acanac only has "3 hours customer service" and has "no phone support"

So who is telling the truth here? Acanac or Bell?

I am not surprised at all by this story. This type of unethical behaver is common place at Bell. Not only from Bell's retention department, but also from the setup crew. We have warned the Bell executives many times. They seem to brush it off as a one time event, but in my opinion it goes way further up. For now we will continue collecting as much information as possible, but if these practices continue all options are open.
