Uploading by US users is risky with copyrights and all. Our courts are so pro-business. Other nations have more of a balance between business and personal use, like in Europe. You'll find a lot of uploading is done by Brazilians and European nations that aren't predominantly pro-business.

In short, I like to give back to the "community" that has helped me. Depending on the group, you are helping others who also enjoy the group or share your common interest.

I think thats what the "rookies" who are coming from the torrent and limewire scene don't get. They realize they can just leech so they run with it. It also takes a fair amount of tiem to prepare certain posts for posting, so there has to be some dedication there as well.
