| Cannot Get on Citizensbank.com
Hello,
Is anyone else able to get on Citizensbank.com or citizensbankonline.com? All of the sudden I can no longer get on those sites. It'll just hang then say "site not found" or something like that. It's not my computer either as I tried accessing through my PS3, other computer, PDA, etc. I tried through my phone and I can get to the sites so they are indeed up and running. I also tried multiple router reboots for new IP#s but no go with that either. My IP#s are though Covad if that helps.
Thanks! Jay |

| No MTU issue at all. That site used to load up fine. Funny thing is that last night I used the ww2. version of the URL and at one point I got on but after that it tried to redirect back to www. If I use my cell phone connection instead of the DSL connection I can get on no problem.

| reply to jayw This not a valid URL citizensbankonline.com. It is »https://www.citizensbankonline.com instead. Plus the non WWW addresses you posted are not the actual servers, but are BigIP re-directors that try to send you to the actual Microsoft-IIS/6.0 servers as you can see below. Look at the Server lines.
Initiating server query ... Looking up IP address for domain: citizensbank.com The IP address for the domain is: 128.167.128.253 Connecting to the server on standard HTTP port: 80 [Connected] Requesting the server's default page. The server returned the following response headers: HTTP/1.0 302 Found Location: »www.citizensbank.com Server: BigIP Connection: close Content-Length: 0 Query complete.

These are the three addresses to Bookmark as they are the actual bank servers:
»www.citizensbank.com/home/ or »https://www.citizensbank.com/home/ and »https://www.citizensbankonline.com/
Now if you have problems with those addresses, then I suggest changing your DNS IPs.

| Thanks Dr. Olds. Yes I have tried all of those, HTTPS versions and both URLS. Still nothing works unless I can get on the WWW1/2/3 versions but I have to get luck by not getting redirected back to the WWW one. I guess I'll just have to change DNS. My router has the DNS forwarders as: Primary 207.217.77.82 secondary 207.217.120.83 Any idea of what new ones to use?
Thanks, Jay |

| I manually set my DNS to 4.2.2.1 and 4.2.2.2 on the Router DHCP Server page so that no matter what the PPPoE session receives from the Access Concentrator, my PCs ignore it and use what my Router is setup telling them to use.
