| I can't get a dry line with AT&T and use it with you, eh? shame. I pay about $12 extra for the line for this connection. Anyone know of any cheaper phone plans? the price I was given was about $5 but it seems to be swollen to $12... Really annoying. Anyone know what the absolutely cheapest AT&T line I should demand for is? -- Looking forthe ultimate Tech Community? www.technoforums.net today! |

| Look into AT&T LifeLine Plus service which is about $5 a month if you qualify. I'll see if I can dig up some links if I do I'll post them for you.
Best explanation I can find: »www.consumer-action.org/english/···nd_save/ Check out the links at the bottom. -- "If it ain't broke don't fix it." |

| reply to AtomBubble about $11/month is the cheapest you will get a phone line with ATT (I am guessing you are already on it). The line really is only about $5/month but then there are like $6 of taxes added onto it =( -- Chugging along on 3x 6016/768k DSL Extreme DSL lines and one 3008/512 ATT DSL DIrect line for a combined total of just over 18 meg download and 2350 up. yay! |

If you attempt to get standalone DSL from Verizon Online the pricing is higher. At this time we don't charge a higher price for standalone DSL through Verizon. In our new website that is set to launch on Thursday you will be able to order standalone DSL directly from the site. -- George General Manager DSL Extreme Will work for reviews. |

| reply to dslx_gm said by dslx_gm :We can not currently provide dry line DSL service in AT&T areas. I'm just coming back to DSL...first started in 2000 and went to Comcast a few years ago. Not too thrilled with their service, so I just ordered a dry loop. I'm in the Miami area and my turn-up time is scheduled for Wed.
The dry loop is called Bundle 97 and from what I understand, costs $15 month but has a $10 discount, netting it to $5 over the cost of the speed you choose .
Also, there are no taxes , at least in Fla. related to this service.. |

I need the dry loop as I have a third part VOIP and don't need a land line.. |
