| [modem/router] Best Replacement Modem?
I've had a few ActionTec modems that have died over the many years I have been a Verizon customer. I had one go out recently and now it's time to buy a new modem (out of warranty).
I wanted to get the Westell Gateway 7500 but Verizon has told me that it's not out yet. Is it worth it to get the older Westell or get another Actiontec?

| Don't know where you are but i just received a Westell 7500 gateway from verizon when i ordered DSL last month.I'm in Philadelphia and the 7500 works very well,suggest you try calling again.  |

Any ADSL2 compatible modem, or modem/router combo, will work just fine. |
