In a previous news article it was stated AT&T did have a statewide franchise for Alabama but for whatever reason was signing with Jasper and now apparently Walker County.

Of course, none of this means we'll see U-verse anytime soon, just that it's coming..... some day.

My luck it will be put in the day after I get transfered to some other part of the state....
