throttling p2p at 30KB/s all day ?

Now it seems like Bell is throttling p2p all day long at 30KB/s?

At least it has been the case for me for three days. I'm in Toronto. Anyone experience the same thing?

I get the opposite I had crazy speed almost 24/7 but I am not in the system anymore with Pathetico I even hit a full 7mb at 10pm, that makes me think... was I on a 7mb profile all those years and those fkers capped me at 4?????? I wouldn't be surprised at all if they would of done that.

Im in Toronto on VDSL or was on VDSL

I'm in Ottawa as well and I wasn't throttled today, so whatever issue you're having, it's not throttling.

I'm getting the impression from this thread that people are confusing "being throttled between 4 pm and 2 am" with "being throttled all day long".

still throttled at 30KB/s as of 8:31am today, so it's 24/7 throttling now.

I also asked at sympatico direct and got the answer below,

"Yes " bandwidth management " can be active throughout the entire day. Its dependent on the amount of network traffic that your server is experiencing."

No offence intended, but you pay how much for this type of service?

Is this the type of service you want to pay for and continue paying for?

No, it's bulls*%$ to be paying for a service that handicaps itself for a huge amount of time throughout the day.

I'm currently downloading at 3/400kbs and getting in what I can before im shut down to 30kbs for the rest of the day. Sigh.

How about all the others? Besides, it looks like one of your front line agents already spilled the beans.

When will all of you get it? Deadpool is here for Public Relations FIRST. If PR conflicts with getting an issue resolved, PR comes first.

The rep in the Direct Forum is correct that the times may be changed, but we all know that that's not the case (or else EVERYONE would be impacted).

Look at what happened last November as a perfect example when throttling lasted 36 hours straight - EVERYONE was impacted, not just a few.

And the fact I'm not impacted (in Ottawa), when someone is apparently is proves that there is no throttling. If there was, EVERYONE in Ottawa would be impacted - not just ONE person.

Seems only (literally), a handful of people are being impacted by this problem, yet NO ONE else in those areas are being impacted - odd, no?
