| Forced HDTV+DVR Bundle - no HDTV only I signed up for cable yesterday - I'm getting DSL for my internet after reading all of these cap/ping horror stories.
I told the Jet employee I wanted basic cable with HDTV. She said that was fine, performed a credit check, took all of my info, and right before placing the order told me I'd have to pay $6/month more for DVR, as 'they no longer offer HDTV without DVR.' When I mentioned the conflict with the pricing options listed on their website, I was told 'the website is out of date.' Make sure you confirm you won't have to get DVR beforehand, or be ready to pay for it. |
