G.W.'s comeuppance is nigh, and no last minute push to cover his ass, or those who aided him, will be successful. The Dems may have taken impeachment off the table, but I sincerely hope they will prevent the Republicans from doing any further harm during what's left of Bush's disgraceful watch.
Attacking the person instead of attacking his argument is an old trick used by most who posts in these threads..Spy1 is a master of that if you review all the threads like one this he has started. The other tactic is claiming there was great success on that last write you congressmen campaign and on this new one they need you more than ever..and now this thread is no exception. The rhetoric is all about making Bush guilty of bad stuff forcing the Telcos to break some law..fact is as all Washington insider will tell you..it is really about some Democrats in the House who cornholed a vote coming to the floor..in hopes they could get more votes in the next election as they appeared to take a hard line against "letting the Telcos off the hook."
