Transmission is not supported by many private trackers. Stick with Azureus for now until utorrent (yes, i've been waiting a lot time) comes out.
It's supported by all mine too. utorrent via Darwine does work. You can also just use Tornado/flux source. I know no site that bans Bit Tornado. Only 1 or 2 ban rtorrent, mostly due to either ignorance or rtorrent's announce format wreaking hell with buggy tracker source code. Transmission is the easiest option. Trust me that not many sites ban it anymore(if any).
