I don't know about the rest of you, but I'll mouse-over an interesting-looking topic thread in the forum section to check out what excerpt the popup shows, to see if the actual content piques my interest fully. Seeing just a link popup really doesn't give me any impetus to click on that thread.

Lazy of me I know, but I've got a lot of things to look at online, and I don't want to bother clicking on another link if I don't have to. ;) :D
