Maximum is 10 days (fine for quads/ not great for others)

Dualies fare well on 5 days

All my others I have 3 days set

To increase your cache

Open the client in Advanced View
At the top toolbar - by File /View /Tools /Activity/ Advanced - click Advanced

Go to Preferences
Under the Network Usage tab in the new box - you can set additional work buffer.

Click "ok"

That's it :)

First open the Advanced view of the client
Click the top Projects tab
Highlight the Project in the box on the right
On the left command bar - click [Update]

Then go to the Transfers tab

Left click and hold control to highlight all the wu wu's awaiting upload (if any are there)

Then click "Retry Now"

We were able to locate a spot on the GPFS filesystem that had been corrupted.
We have corrected the problem
(a few files were lost in the process but they were workunit input files so some folks will get errors downloading workunits, but no results were lost).
The BOINC grid and website have been up and stable for the past hour. We continue to watch and monitor the behavior of the system.
