Our 3rd Level Support team went the extra mile in this case and rewrote the code in several scripts to make it behave with MySQL 5.<br><br>I'm glad we could get everything going for you. :)]]></description>

Turning it ON is suicidal.<br>2) Magic quotes can be enabled using a local php.ini/.htaccess file depending on your server configuration.<br>3) SOAP is provided along with php5, and that's the industry standard as far as I know.<br>4) Surpass does provide you option to switch back to php4. We haven't had any servers with serious downtime lately. We are, however, working to upgrade PHP and MySQL on several servers, so it's possible that your scripts may not be compatible. They keep returning help desk tickets as fixed when they do not even work! GRRRR>>><br><br>Jen is about to have me switch to another hosting provider!
