BAD_POOL_CALLER
***STOP 0X000000C2, (0X00000007, 0X00000CD4, 0X530C9704, 0XE3E2D749)
I agree with Cudni , contact Microsoft as there may be a known issue.
Having said that, the usual cause for this error is hardware and not software.
Check -- and if possible disable or remove -- devices using the following sequence; testing after action on each item; as it constitutes most of the problems with a "BAD_POOL_CALLER" Stop error:
• USB devices -- notably USB pen drives • Network adapter(s) • Video adapter card & Driver version used. -- ============ MS-MVP 2004 - -2008, ASAP Member Users Helping Users

Do you have any minidump files from the Blue Screens (located in the C:\Windows\Minidump folder - the minidump files are dated MMDDYY-XX). |

| takeahike,
Bad_Pool_Caller errors are not coming from drive inconsistences curable by chkdsk. This is a kernel level error.
The user would be wasting their time opening their case, removing the drive, opening the case of a second computer, mounting the drive, reconfiguring all jumpers and cables, and running chkdsk. |
